Photography book by Bruce Usher. Coast, Tree and Street have become three parts of me. Coast - the untamed and elder - dominated the younger, showy and attention-seeking Street. Tree - with its stillness - was a latecomer; not really expected, but totally loved.

For over 50years, Bruce has produced a body of work that to me is a love letter to an evolving Australia. More recently I've come to know him directly through hir writing and photographic contributions to our magazine, Great Ocean Quaterly, and thruogh the ongoing visual poem that is his instagram account. His work is a priceless chronicle of Australia through its entry into the twenty-first century.
